Amsel Adams

Ansel Adams is arguably the most famous black-and-white photographer ever.  His photography inspired Americans in the past and the present, allowing people to experience the true beauty and majesty of wild America.  As a young boy, his only education was a "legitimizing diploma" from Mrs. Kate M. Wilkins Private School, which is equivalent to completing the eighth grade.  However, he had a hidden genius, teaching himself to play piano and read music.  As he grew older, he became a virtuoso by mastering the piano, and intended on becoming a professional player.  However, his love of photography consumed him, and he carried that into a career.  He became a member of the Sierra Club, and took his first High Trip into the Sierra Nevada.  There, he took his first fully visualized photograph of Half Dome in Yosemite, known as 'Monolith'.  In the years that followed, he continued photographing the national parks of America as a profession, and earned his title as the most famous black-and-white photographer.

Found Panoramas

These panoramic pictures are so cool!  The water and sand looks so warm... I really want to be at the beach right now!  On a more serious note, these panoramas were obviously professionally done.  Everything is connected very well, and there isn't serious skewing.  The first one is creative because it uses more of the water, and really shows you whats under the ocean.  I like the landscape of the second one, and how it shows the stone cliffs.

Found Faces Story

Hi there!  My name is Yellow, and I'm a school bus.  I have a big family, with a mom, dad, and lots of cousins.  My mom's name is Blue, my dad's name is Shuttle, and my cousins are Greyhound, Metro, Coach, and many more!  I live at Newberg High School, and my job here is carrying kids to school.  Without me, children would have a really hard time getting to school!  My favorite past-time is collecting things.  As I take kids to school, I find lots of cool things along the road.  I have collected toy ducks, stuffed animals, coins, and lots of other items!  I also have a hidden talent, but you can't tell anyone!  When afternoon comes, and the kids leave school, I go into the auditorium and sing opera!  I think I'm pretty good, and will go on to become a professional singer, but I haven't had the courage to show anyone.  I hope that one day I can be brave and sing at the talent show.
